IDSat 2.1 is available. It is similar to the original MS-DOS version, but rewritten and compiled as a 32-bit Windows console program. I believe it to be compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows versions. http://www.satobs.org/programs/IdSat/IDSat.zip IDSat assists in the identification of observed satellites, by computing and tabulating close appulses of known satellites relative to the observed time and position. IDSat also lists the direction of travel, angular velocity and estimated prediction accuracy. Subject to the availability of data, it can also estimate the predicted visual magnitude. IDSat automatically detects and decodes observations input in the IOD and U.K. formats, including the abbreviated form of the latter used by Russell Eberst. It also reads the 4-line *.ctl input files used with early versions of Mike McCants' Findsat program.
