Public night at the Tulsa astronomy club site was well attended by about 80

people despite the oppressive heat and humidity. Just getting out of the hot
city was great, and after the crowd had their fill of my scope and before
moonrise I was able to see quite a few dim deep sky objects. Despite being clear
several nights lately, it's just been too hot to go outside. After moonrise
I observed a few of the classified geosynchronous objects before we become
redundant. After arriving home, and realizing I had just missed a lunar
occultation reappearance, I was able to pick up a few more satellites with
binoculars. All in all, a wonderful evening.
