Cosatrak 1 (Computerised satellite Tracking System).

FLI ML8300M CCD camera with mechanical shutter + Trimble GPS

Used with NIKON ED AF NIKKOR 80-200mm f/2.8 telephoto lens
set at 88mm focal length. Field of view 696 X 524 arc minutes,
Image measurered manually with GUIDE.

Site 0433 : Longitude 18.51294 deg East, Latitude -33.94058 deg,
Elevation 10 metres-situated in Pinelands (Cape Town),South Africa

(1) Found a few more images of the bright unknown observed. Attached above
    are all the positions so far. I dont think there are anymore

(2  Slowly getting through the images of the geosat region - a rather
    painful task - I should never have observed under such variable
    poor conditions!
