No ATV visible from Moscow, Russia on the first pass, despite the clear
    skies.

I think I just saw the ATV on its first pass, about 5 degrees below
Saturn, around zero magnitude and moving quite fast. After about 10
seconds it faded and I lost it. I had not prepared to look for it,
hence I had no binoculars or (stop)watch. I estimate the time at about
    22:12UT.

The live video feed on Spaceflightnow reported it at an altitude of
about 150km, which would place it in the penumbra.

    Regards,
        Cees
