    Canon EOS 450D + EF 50/2.5 Macro @ 2.8, 800 ISO + ASTRORECORD astrometric
    software.
    What these numbers mean: http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nice clear sky, but some wind. First part of obs in noticable twilight.

MSX (96-024A) was an accidental capture while I was imaging Mentor 2 (98-029A).
It is bright on the image. The same image also contains 08-041A as a stray, the
Chinese HJ-1A. Mentor 2 itself was well visible on the images.

Geosat Superbird A1 (92-084A) flared brightly (see earlier message). LEO sat
UARS (91-063B) was bright (mag 0) with a small flare (see earlier mail).

Large batch of non-classified strays bagged as well.

All observations done on the bank of the outer medieval city moat of Leiden,
some 50 meter from my regular location (this to allow me acces to these low sky
altitudes, which I cannot access from the courtyard): in the interested company
of Pippi the cat (my GF's cat), who after 25 minutes got hungry and started to
meow, trying to lure me back home.

Someone living in the neighbourhood dropped by for a chat and inquiry what I was
    doing.
