This is to report that I successfully observed the breakup of the Hayabusa bus from Coober Pedy, Australia last night. The asteroid sample capsule moved parallel to it and was easily video taped. Skies were perfectly clear and the flash of the break up of the bus was blinding. We know the capsule has been spotted, just waiting to hear of its recovery. It will likely be opened in Japan later in the month.
