Hello: I was on my balcony last night observing Jupiter. About 10pm a fast moving satellite came form the NNE to SSE but I cannot find any ID for it on Heavens Above. Date: June 29/30,2007 Time: Approx. 0100 UT Place: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Lat: N44^ 39' 13" Long: W63^ 36' 29" Mag.: Close to Alpha Aquilae (Altair) magnitude. It took about 20 seconds to cross the sky and had to be a low orbit satellite for it's speed. It's pass was probally 45 to 50 degrees altitude. Can anyone ID this for me? -- Clear skies =========== Michael Boschat Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Halifax Center Astronomy page: http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/~aa063 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
