http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/satcom_transits/skychart.jpg is a sky chart image ( based on the www.Calsky.com star chart ) showing L5 moving across the sky and its variation in magnitude as imaged (May 29 2007.....71.5 degree pass ) The satellite was steady around mag 2.5 until approx 22.38.28 gmt when it "disappeared"....although still just visible to the camera. It then flared brightly 20 seconds later , before fading.
