    Hi All,
    
    The DSS site should have the relevant plate data that would give you
    all the required info, but my guess is also an aircraft or perhaps
    three in formation.
    
    The Schmidt plates had about a 6 degree field from memory. Also if I
    recall, the plates were either from the Oschin Schmidt at Palomar, the
    ESO 1 metre Schmidt at La Silla in Chile or the UK Schmidt at Siding
    Spring in Australia.
    The position of the field which comes up when you acess the fields
    will tell you which camera.
    There is also a very distinct meteor running across the lower left as well.
