I posted a picture of Iridium 17 flaring to -8 mag on June 28 01.37.48 UTC
    at http://www.geocities.com/satman888/Nightsky.html .
The only star visible was Vega directly below the peak of the flare with the
unaided eye. A 43 second digital exposure shows the head of Draco with the
satellite going over iota Hercules then passing thru rho and 69 herc. Many
    other stars also visible.
