Observations 06 JUNE 2005:
----------------------------------
Cosatrak 1 (Computerised satellite Tracking System).
MINTRON low light level CCD surveillance camera (0.005 lux typical
in non integration mode) and 0.00005 lux in STARLIGHT mode with 128
frame integration.
Used with 145mm focal length f/2.5 lens easily showing 12th magnitude
stars in real time on a moonless night.
Site 0433 : Longitude 18.51294 deg East, Latitude 33.94058 deg S,
Elevation 10 metres - situated in Pinelands (Cape Town), South Africa
A very good night - cold and very good transparency. Very high humidity
and eventually stopped by mist/cloud.
Correction for 04 June 2005: (Had 27721 instead of 27712-thanks Mike)

Notes:
---------
(1) Despite a large area search for #90016 I could not find it so this
satellite has been moved again so is currently lost.
(2) The saga of Intelsat 904 and #91027 continues. When observed at 17h00m
UT I could not seperate them, the object appearing slightly elongated.
By 18h26mUT there was space between the two images.
(3) Object #90034 has now been identified as having originally been #90018,
thanks to our expert Mike. The object reported on the 4th June as
possibly being #90018 is to be ignored-at the time I queried its reality.
(4) Object #90029 was not seen despite a search for it - I have not seen
it before.
(5) The object reported on the 4th June as being possibly Milstar 6 rocket
has been confirmed.
(6) Another unknown - this looks very similar to #92032 which is a 14 degree
inclination object.
(7) An unknown flasher was found and identified as COSMOS 2350. This flashes
in the early evening and several hours later was not seen.
(8) I am not positive about the ASTRA observations. Predictions show 5 objects
in the area and I only see 4 ( 2 ASTRA objects,(3 predicted) Eurobird
and Xtar-Eur, so identifications of ASTRA objects in question.
(9) Thats all - expect my usual errors :-))
Cheers
Greg
