We have a lunar transit in the Wellington area this afternoon New Zealand
time during the EVA ("spacewalk.") The transit is at 15:19:45 local
(03:19:45 UTC.) and if the EVA lasts the full 6 hours it will conclude
shortly after this at 03:50 UTC.
Unfortunately, though I hope be at a suitable location to observe the
transit (cloud permitting,) I will not have access to equipment to film it,
so I would be grateful if you could alert any observers in this area. At
this stage it is uncertain whether sky conditions will be clear or cloudy.
I have contacted the local observatory but have not at this stage been able
to speak to the appropriate person.
Acknowledgement for the excellent service provided by Thomas Fly in
supplying much more up to date information than is available from Calsky.
