I made a small correction to that page- I realized I'd made a sign error, so that apparently, Tomás was only (by my best fiduciary effort) 12 meters from what was probably the CalSKY predicted ISS / Venus transit path (based upon the OIG TLE that would have been available at the time). Arnold Barmettler has indicated that most Slovakian maps currently in use are based upon a projection that represents a cylindrical or conic best-fit to the Earth's surface in Slovakia, so without a GPS measurement of Tomás' location to work from, it's not possible to come to a definite conclusion as to the relative accuracy of the OIG and MCC TLEs in this particular case. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
