    Hi again Tom,

I talked to Valeri Korzun RZ3FK, the ISS Expedition Five Commander
via ham radio on August 9, 2002 using an HT, 7 watts to a
quarter-wave mag-mount, from the car while sitting in a friend's
    driveway.

Unfortunately, the ham radio on the ISS has been silent since the
Columbia accident with the exception of some pre-scheduled
    SAREX/ARISS school contacts.

    See http://www.qsl.net/ka8vit/iss/issqsl.htm for more detail.

On the bottom of the page is a link to the QSL card I received
    confirming the contact.

    Bill KA8VIT
