Observations made in twilight with thick haze. Stratus then developed, but must have cleared before dawn, because by walking to a nearby field I was able to see and photograph the partially eclipsed Sun at an elevation of 2 degrees at 04:13 UT. It was a deep red colour. Observations made on 2003 May 31/June 1 to follow. 96-72A was invisible, but 95-66A and 01-44A were more or less on time. David.
