Yes, I was able to just look at them on the computer monitor to see
them in 3D. I've been able to see pictures in 3D without a viewer
for most of my life. I started practicing with astronomy book pictures
while I was in grade school. Didn't know anyone else did it.
I've also taken 3D pictures.
I had a note in SKY & TELESCOPE a while ago saying that some
side by side Jupiter pictures in the magazine gave a very nice 3D affect.
Try looking for this anytime similar photos appear.
A few days ago I picked up a 100 year old stereo card showing the
moon. Photos were by Barnard.
