Further to Franz's report of the 22nd June I today received this enquiry
concerning a possible event which took place the following evening over
South east UK.
Wonder if anyone can throw any light on it.
The examination of "debris" should prove quite interesting !
Here's the enquiry..................
>>
I would be interested to discover through yourself and/or contacts if you
have any knowledge of a declining satellite which re-entered over the
southeast of England (specifically Ramsgate, Kent) last Friday, 23 June at
approximately 10.00pm.
I have quizzed researchers at the British Geological Survey in Edinburgh who
raised data on seismic units at Folkstone, Eastbourne, Seven Oaks, Brentwood
and Midhurst, West Sussex either side of 10.00pm (BST) and these registered
nothing at all.
Many witnesses were raised from their homes in the Ramsgate area after
hearing two very loud 'bangs' followed by the appearance of a bright
yellowish object crossing the sky which rained down debris. Some of the
debris has been gathered for analysis. It is light, blackened and burned.
One gentleman who gathered pieces of the debris has an RAF engineering
background and ruled out the possibility this came from an aircraft and/or
drone airframe.
The BGS have definitely ruled out seismic activity and pressure waves
associated with a sonic boom.
A bollide meteor (similar to that which registered on their instruments over
South Yorkshire a couple of years ago) can also be ruled out of course.
Be interested therefore to discover if the debris may have come from a
satellite, but would this explain the two loud 'bangs'? And how come these
didn't register on the seismic instruments? Analysis of the debris in the
fullness of time should provide some answers.
Best regards,

There we are.....any thoughts ?
