This unknown object was easily seen with binoculars as it made its
way slowly across the sky. Two crude attempts at timing ...
UTC 1999 June 19 02:33:36 +/- 2 : 3 seconds early, and
UTC 1999 June 19 02:35:07 +/- 2 : 0 seconds early relative to
these elements (using Skymap) ...

i.e. - within our timing uncertainty, no clear discrepancy. Also, no
obvious significant cross-track error.

As to brightness,

UTC 1999 June 19 02:31.1 V(apparent)= +5.9, Intrinsic (quicksat)= +2.5
UTC 1999 June 19 02:35.1 V(apparent)= +6.3, Intrinsic (quicksat)= +3.1

The magnitudes are +/- 0.5 and no obvious variation was noted while
watching it over four minutes.

Nice object. Any positive ID yet?

Clear and dark skies!
