Mike McCants and I were fortunate to see a great pass of
Iridium 14 (24836, 97-30A). There were some extremely
bright double flashes, with the two flashes of each pair
separated by less than 1 second -- perhaps .5 second.
These were truly spectacular. The peak of the pass was
as it moved northwards just east of Cor Caroli (alpha 2
Canes Venatici).

Milstar 3 Centaur (25725, 99-23B) just made another
one-power (between +2.5 and +3.0) pass as our
early-morning clouds were coming in.
