For the possible benefit of other newcomers, I post my reply here:

My two favourites, QuickSat and SkyMap, do that, and have other merits.

They are available at

QuickSat is fast, even on 286 and 386 PC's (and runs on Unix). It can
pick satellites from flag designations in a separate 'quicksat.mag' table.

SkyMap also shows the tracks plotted among stars in a selected size/pos/
orientation field, which also is very useful if you want to identify an
observation of an unknown. Tracks are colour-coded for magnitude limit and
penumbra etc., and can be labelled with magnitude and name, number or IntID.

Both can select objects based on predicted magnitude, and predict
satellites in a short specific selection, or an entire elset file.
