Yes, I'm one of the lurkers resulting from the "Astronomy" magazine article. I'm jealous. You see, we in upstate/western New York suffer from Lake Ontario/Erie created clouds. And my lovely rural home is surrounded by beautiful trees. As a VERY amateur astronomer, I've come to expect such interference during any "neat" celestial event! I want to be Ed's neighbor in Texas!!!!!!!!! So thanks to you all for the introduction to DLR/GSOC Satellite Visibility homepage and the url for Mark Wade's Encyclopedia Astronautica is great!!! And oh yes, remember when you could earn a pin for sighting Mir....yup, I've got one of those pins!!! So I'll continue to enjoy your list and will continute to seek my first flare!
