Hi. My name is Porfiris and I'm new to this list. I have been
interested in astronomy since I was a young teenager. I am very
interested in observing satellites and other objects orbiting our planet.
I have seen many man-made objects but the only object I have been able
to identify was the Skylab, viewing it low on the horizon at dusk in
Maryland back in the late 1970's. Hopefully this list can assist me in
knowing when to look and identify many objects. I am always looking UP
for anything I can see.

One object I saw a few months ago has puzzled me. Maybe someone can help
me identify it. Between 0300 and 0400 I saw an object traveling from the
north to the south over central Florida. It had a large, fuzzy blue glow
with a somewhat brighter center, the bright center being almost pinpoint.
It traveled from my left (north) to my right in about 20 to 30 seconds.

Porfiris
