I observed 23876/96-32D/STU last night from Colorado Springs at 1996 June 10 03:15 UT on a very favourable transit without any difficulty. Mag +6 steady when passing Arcturus at el 70 in the south, improving to +5.3. On the basis of this one transit, I suggest Ted Molczan's value of +10.3 is pessimistic by about 1 mag. Also seen: 96-29A & C at 1996 June 10 05:00 UT, steady object preceding by the other by 2.6 secs. David.
