It's been raining/cloudy every day for the last week or 2, but it cleared in
time to observe tonight. AT 10:18pm, in the SW, Mir came flying by, 85 deg
high. Mag between Vega and Jupiter. I had expected Atlantis to be nearby,
but it didn't come along until 4 minutes later. It was generally slightly
fainter than, or equal in brightness to Mir, but at peak altitude became
almost as bright as Jupiter.
