T.S. -

Thank you for the message, I am currently on vacation in San Francisco and will be back and begin adding to the pages. Tim sent me his software and it has been useful, I am trying to make some changes to make it more usable. His version had the ISS orbit (in a TLE) hard coded, etc.

I wish I could track satellites - I know that Paul Maley used to from here - but don't have the time (considering the limitations). I will be in touch.

Charles

I’ve worked with Tim DeBenedictis to get SGP4 into his excellent SkySafari software for macOS, iOS, and Android and regularly use the iPhone version to control my Celestron telescope to find GEO sats for imaging.

I’ll look at your contributions and (if acceptable to the list), communicate suggestions and/or additions etc directly to you, off-list. If the list prefers to be part of the conversation, that’s fine too. Speaking personally, and with absolutely no disrespect to the TLE software pioneers, I’ve been occasionally frustrated with the 'DOS-only' collection, so would love to contribute to a new generation!

I also run some C++ written by a guy named Tim DeBenedictus that propagates TLEs, again as a Unix application, and will try to share some of that.
