As reported earlier, unfortunately the Marine layer clouds moved in too fast that morning for the 1130z pass. The cloud cover blocked the view to the darker northwest. Did however see ISS setting in a small clear patch toward the northeast but twilight light was too bright in that direction to see the dimmer USA 276. "1-2 days of August 19" calendar marked with it and that other sky event. -----Original Message----- From: Marco Langbroek via Seesat-l Sent: Friday, 14 July, 2017 07:45 To: satelliet lijst (SeeSat) Subject: USA 276 Updated USA 276 elements, based on observations by Alberto Rango, Leo Barhorst, Andriy Makeyev and Marco Langbroek: USA 276 385 x 410 km 1 42689U 17022A 17195.04171765 0.00005027 00000-0 68378-4 0 08 2 42689 50.0003 260.6824 0018402 302.8771 57.0426 15.56659053 09 rms 0.005 from 17 observations 12.96 Jul - 14.05 Jul UT This yields a close approach on July 13 close to my previous estimate in time and distance: 28.4 +- 2 km, at 11:23:54 +- 00:00:01 UT, near 42.4 N, 149.2 W.
