    Patrice, at zenith (distance 800 km) an Iridium (larger dimension 4m) 
    has an angular size of 1 arc second. I'ts practically beyond the 
    reach of amateur telescopes, I know nobody able to obtain details on 
    a so small object, all the more that they are visible during a short 
    time during flares (the rest of the time they are very faint). In 
    comparison, the angular size of the ISS is about 60 times larger.
