The other night, when using my 4 ince scope with the video camera, I noticed Brazilsat B3 ( 25152 ) was bright compared to other geo sat's. Last night, I deciced to see if it was flaring. I used the wide feild lens, and was able to see it:) So it was flaring like I thought. At 5:40 UTC ( July 14 ) it was around mag 9 are brighter. If the clouds hadn't gone away in time, I would have missed the flare. Not sure how long the flare last's as I caught the tail end of it. Info on Brazilsat B3. http://www.skyrocket.de/space/doc_sdat/brasilsat-b.htm Will be keeping my eye on it, to see how it behaves. Kevin Be smarter than spam.
