Hey All,
Tonight I saw a rapidly flashing object moving
from north to south. It almost look like a high flying
aircraft with a fast strobe light but the flashing
interval appeared to change. And then it disappeared
in my south making me think it was a satellite. It
passed about 2 degrees east of Gamma Hercules at
4:09:24 UT July 12. My location is Plano, TX, USA:
Lat: +33.06946N
Lon: -96.76807W
I might have the position wrong because of
intervening cirrus clouds but I was looking at Envisat
when I saw it going in the opposite direction to
Envisat's path. Any idea on what it could be?
Regards,
Jeff Umbarger
