    This however begs the question what is causing the flares of Lacrosse 2, 3 & 4.
    
    Philip Masding explains them by a flat SAR panel oriented at 25-35 degrees to 
    the earth's surface. As his predictions are now indeed resulting in flare 
    observations, he seems to be quite right in that.
