Early Sunday morning clouds prevented me observing the rocket of the recently launched Kosmos of the Oko type. Early Monday morning I had more success. The sky background was brighter. However the brightness of 2006-030C / 29262 was good: mag +1.3 (like Deneb) in maxima and about +4.5 in mimimum. The flashing period was 4.8 seconds.
