Hi all , From yesterdays ISS / Discovery pass I have cropped the shuttle from one of the main BMP frames , enlarged it and applied slight gaussian blur and unsharp mask. I'm not an advocate of processing images to this extent ,the only adjustments I usually do are brightness if needed and size , but thought it would be interesting to see what happend. The result here : http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/satcom_transits/Discovery_from_frame3.bmp ( which is a negative image ) , shows what appears to be a triangular object , moving more or less "tail" first. Digital artifact....? or was Discovery actually in this flight mode , four hours after undocking? I'd be interested if any can run a simulation . Many thanks, John ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
