Good news, and bad:
I made three batch jobs to automate running ElObsEnt (ELCOR),
using a list of input files (in this case aproximate MM and e
for different number of orbits over Ed's 13.96 day interval)
and sets of element selections for optimization
(with bad starting elsets, ELCOR often diverges or aborts)
This saves a tremendous amount of time, running 20 elsets
times 5 combinations times 7 iterations in 50 seconds.
Output is written to 100 separate files. With UltraEdit it
is then easy ('Find in Files') to browse all rms values,
and pick up the elsets where improvements were found.
Then I rerun the batch to get the optimizations that aborted.
For elsets with 28-39 orbits I repeated the five good obs
on July 16 three times, to give them extra weight.
The bad news is that this doesn't reduce the RMS much,
and there are many elsets that are likely candidates:
