At 0030 local time here in Long Beach USA I tried to catch a glimpse before
it went into shadow. No stars visible and no joy in the visible spectrum.
Ham radio packet coming through loud and clear though so I know my elements
are correct. Its been so long since I have seen two objects in this same
track much less docked...I am very excited about the prospects and may even
    try some photography this time.

I've had NASA TV up for about the last hour, the lights on the gantry are on
but the spotlights are not. I can barely make out an SRB so I know the rss
    is rotated back

Hoping the thunderstorms don't rain on the parade.

Wishing the lcc would say something.
