last evening (July 7, 05:10GMT) I spotted Iridium 22 while in the backyard astro-imaging (working on a mosaic of the North American Nebula: http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/ngc7000_rift_s2ho3_page.htm ). I am in Castro Valley California, near Hayward. The reason for the posting is I am trying to figure out what the other object was that was accompanying it. When I looked up I saw two bright moving "Stars" probably one to four degrees apart. One was obviously the Iridium 22 flare,. but travelling slightly lower and slightly more to the east but parallel to the Iridium was another moving object that was somewhat less bright. Does anyone have any idea what the second object was?
