Also the european weathersatellites Meteosat are spin-stable.
The spin-rate. which is perpendular to the earths polaraxis, is used to scan
the earth line by line, whereby a mirror is used to move the scanning line
    from north to south.

    see the ESA web site

      Hello all

This may be a stupied questions but.....anyway

I have been reading about satellite attitude control, and read about "spin
stable" attitude, but when I was searching for satellite that uses "spin
stable" attitude control I found nothing.....

Does anyone of you know of some satellite that uses this kind of attitude
    control.
And does anyone know of what spin rate (RPM) it must have(as minimum).

      Thanks

      Øyvind
