(2) Ive added a "finder" camera to my tracking system. Currently this is a
1004x ccd camera board equipped with a 25mm focus f/1.2 lens. This gives
a field of about 10 degrees and can see stars as faint as magnitude
+7.5.
I will probably replace this lens with a 50mm focal length lens and this
will give about a 5 degree field and a magnitude limit of about +8.5.
The idea of this is to see brightish satellites that are "off course"
and also to give me a brief preview of the field of view of the main
camera so that I can position the field of view so as to capture
suitable
reference stars etc.
(3) I hope to report the rest tomorrow - Blackie now wants his afternoon
walk!
