From April 30 through May 07, 1973 (UTC), I saw it several times at
apparent magnitudes ranging from about 5.4 to 6.7.

More recently, in August 2000 and June 2002 I saw it again (at
    magnitudes 6 - 6-1/2).

    Clear and dark skies!
