Thanks to Björn Gimle's help on when to look, I was able to observe Intelsat 512 (85-087A, 16101), a flashing geosynch fairly similar to Superbird A. This was from outside my apartment -- not a good observing site. I think that the brightest flashes might have been +3, but I was using my binoculars, the Moon was bright, and the nearby lights were shining. PPAS report: 85- 87 A 02-07-19 05:51:42.5 EC 331.9 0.3 15 22.12 +3.5->inv It flashes something like 12 minutes or so later each night.
