I made several satellite observations with my frineds recently (naked-eyes
in most cases, sometimes with a 12*60 binocular). It's always too sleepy
to post the results here in time...
The time is local time (UT+8). Location: 40:23:47 N, 117:34:42 E, 860 m.
11 Jul 21:22 IRIDIUM 4 -1 flash, same as predicted
11 Jul 21:20 COSMOS 1766 +0 came aross when waiting for watch the above
flash, identified afterwards via SatSpy
11 Jul 21:29 ?? +3.5 saw a satellite under Polaris by 10 degrees(?)
slightly upper-left to lower-right
14 Jul 02:31 Iridium 17 -8 flash, same as predicted
14 Jul 03:00 Iridium 72 -6 flash, brighter than predicted -4
14 Jul 21:49 NOAA 17 +4.5
14 Jul 21:39 BREEZE-KM R/B +3
An old observation:
12 May 02:40 Cosmos 2306 +3 flash to -2 for 3 seconds at 02:41
