After 2 previous predicted flares of the new Iridiums being clouded out, this evening it remained clear long enough to see one of them even in the evening twilight. First off Iridium 8 #24792 97020A flared to -8 at 05:22:12 13 Jul UTC. Az 51deg El 51deg. Then at 05:27:49 Iridium 98 ? #27451 02031B flared to -3. Az 52deg El 52deg. Unlike the Ir 8 flare, Ir 98 ? remained visible longer at 1x covering at least 25 degrees of sky. I looked for Iridium 97 ? #27450 02031A which followed 9 min later, and higher up, but no 1x visuals of it.
