    It appears that the flash period of Intelsat 512 (85-087A, 16101)
    is decreasing about half a second per night:

    85- 87 A 01-07-30 04:15:07.3 EC  345.6 0.2  13 26.59  +4->inv
    85- 87 A 01-07-28 03:56:28.7 EC  240.3 0.2   9 26.70  +4->inv
    85- 87 A 01-07-25 03:10:49.9 EC  295.3 0.2  11 26.84  +4->inv

    It flashes brightly about 10-15 minutes per night, beginning
    about 13 minutes or so later from night to night. Last night's
    phase shift was around 4:16 UTC (11:16 Central Daylight Time USA)
    for Austin. I wonder if I'm being too conservative on the
    magnitude of the maxima; some of them last night might possibly
    have been visible without magnification even with the moonlight.
