The first time a sat flare made me jump! A brilliant -5 flare under Arcturus. The path is a good match to what I saw, but it was running ~ 3 minutes late on the elset from mccants.tle. 7/14 evening 23323 IRS-P2, predicted mag 5.9. Flared to -1 near culmination in Bootes, then flared to mag 4 about every 2 s. 7/15 evening Iridium 9 tum, many bright flashes, some reaching mag -3. UARS flashed to mag -3 at culmination. 15482 Cosmos 1624, predicted mag 5.5. Some flashes. 2 min early 11239 Cosmos 1072 r, predicted mag 5.0.
