Photoreconnaissance - an improved version of Ofeq 3. Actually, the story
was claiming that the improved Shavit launcher (which we know exists) had
actually launched _two_ Ofeqs, 5A and 5B, which were to be operated
simultaneously for greater coverage.

No orbital attempt was launched. Maybe it was a missile test ?

This cannot be ruled out, but there have been no similar propaganda events
with the previous six launches of Ofeqs (three reached orbit).
