Hi All,

(Mostly) off-topic announcement -- SOHO (C2) is just beginning
to show a large coronal mass ejection from the sun.  Don't know
how well it is directed toward earth, but I suppose there's the
chance of an improved aurora in a couple days, and the
possibility that satellites will be seen a few seconds earlier
if the earth's atmosphere pumps up in response.  --Rob
