I also failed to see USA 129 (96-072A, 24680). I assumed that I had not been looking in the right places. I had three predicted positions and was attempting to use star maps but got in a hurry and was unsure that I got to the right place. But since Paul didn't see it, maybe I did look in the right place and it just wasn't there. However, from here the predicted pass was SW to NW, not one of the best. E. Ney Museum grounds, 30.307N, 97.727W, 150m. Mars Odyssey Delta Rk (26739, 01-013C) did not disappoint -- quite bright and very fast! A while later I had another very fast one, though it was quite a bit fainter: Intelsat 3-5 Rk Deb (04053, 69-064C). Gorizont 16 (19397, 88-071A) has slowed down to about 95.3 seconds flash period. It's still easy to find from here, although some of the flashes are significantly fainter than most, for some reason.
