Observing Program of the Belgian Working Group Satellites(BWGS) --------------------------------------------------------------- The Belgian Working Group Satellites has been active in collecting flash period measurements since 1987. Our priority list contains 468 satellites. Our program files can be downloaded at the new BWGS pages: http://gallery.uunet.be/tcools/satimage/bwgs/bwgs.htm The program files include: -PPAS8 database: Over 50000 flash observations -PPAS8-01 untill 03: updates to PPAS8 -satorama.txt: this file -program.rob: a description file of each satellite in our program The following categories can be found in program.rob: b flashing object for beginners, mostly a brigh regular object d difficult to measure S steady object, potentially flashing in the future ? flash period is unknown or uncertain - long flash period(>40s) ! top-priority object(mostly objects which have accelerated) regular object g geostationary object h highly eccentric orbit(GTO and others) Satellites deleted from the program ----------------------------------- 64-38A/65-106B/71-119B/71-120B/74-1B/79-12A/79-30B/80-69B/82-3B/82-55B/82-66B 83-21B/83-31B/83-42B/83-108B/86-37B/87-27B/87-88A/88-1A/88-19A/88-23B/88-32A 88-53B/89-17B/89-28B/89-59B/89-86B/90-4B/90-23B/90-36B/90-55D/90-83B/91-29B/ 91-59B/92-20B/92-73B/93-36B/93-55C/93-59B/94-74B/95-2D/95-8B/95-58B/96-25B/ 96-51B/98-45B/98-71B/99-4E/99-12E/99-19E Satellites added to the program ------------------------------- For a description about these satellites see also the program.rob file 65-106B/67-116A/68-11A/81-9A/82-25A/88-90A/89-14A/90-52A/91-68G/96-20B/97-10A 97-12A/98-16B/98-66C/99-24A/99-25C/99-26A/99-28A/99-40C/99-64C/99-65H/99-65J 99-70C/00-4B/00-4F/00-6B/00-14B/00-15A/00-30B/00-32B/00-33D/00-39C/00-42B Top priority objects -------------------- There are only two top priority objects in the program. These objects have accelerated or are still accelerating. You can always check for new additions and analisis at the BWGS site. 92-30J 93-70B Observers --------- We received 1835 observations from 22 observers.
