Excuse the limited regional subject, but two plots of the MSLS missile (a modified Minuteman II) launch tonight from Vandenberg AFB as viewed from San Diego, CA and the San Francisco Bay Area are available at: SF BAY AREA http://albums.photopoint.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=940828&a=2571482&p=23933326 San Diego: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=940828&a=2571482&p=23955169 . Launch window is from 7:01pm PDT 'til 11pm. Plots show the trajectory correct relative to azimuth and altitude for the locations no matter what time the launch occurs, however the times would be off. Wishfully thinking - the plots are shown for a launch time of 9pm (local sunset in SF 8:31pm) and would also be correct relative to the stars as well as Alt & Azim. with the rocket entering sunlight 1min 28 seconds after launch, producing a spectacular scene! Let's hope! The plot only covers the full powered flight path.
