Wednesday evening I was able to observe a pretty good pass of FUSE (25791, 99-35A), given its low inclination of only 25 degrees. I was somewhat surprised at its brightness (+3.0 to +3.5), but now that I've found a good photo of it, I see why it's bright. It's a large rectangular box about 5 or 6 meters tall, covered with shiny insulation. The FUSE Web site -- http://fuse.pha.jhu.edu/ -- is very informative. It even has current orbital elements for FUSE and its Delta 2 launch vehicle, and a link to the GSOC! Ed Cannon - ecannon@mail.utexas.edu - Austin, Texas, USA
