Hi!
Big thanks to Ed Cannon for emphasising how nice Okean-O Zenit (25861,
99-39B) is!
His note encouraged me to go for a quite unfavorable pass yesterday, 20th
July, at 21:22 UTwhich
was very low at the western horizon, so the phase angle was quite bad.
Still, 99-39B
was spectacular in binoculars! I didn't time the flash period but it was
obviously much shorter than
1 second. Flash magnitude was mag 3 or 4.
I am looking forward to seeing better passes of this object!
